Experiencing Pregnancy Symptoms?
Here are some common pregnancy symptoms to look out for according to the Mayo Clinic:
- A missed period
A missed period is often a sign of pregnancy. If you have irregular periods, wait it out and see if you continue not to have a period, and take a pregnancy test to be sure.
- Tender, swollen breasts
Tender and swollen breasts are common with pregnancy due to hormonal changes and will most likely decrease the longer you are pregnant.
- Nausea with or without vomiting
You’ve probably heard of this pregnancy symptom before and it’s very normal in early pregnancy due to hormonal changes.
- Increased urination
Are you going to the bathroom more than usual? The amount of blood in your body increases during pregnancy, causing your kidneys to process extra fluid, some of which ends up in your bladder.
- Fatigue
Maybe you feel tired and drained recently. Fatigue is a common pregnancy symptom, as the progesterone hormone levels rise quickly during pregnancy.
If you experience irregular periods, it can be difficult to really know if you’re pregnant. In that case, get a pregnancy test at our center to be sure of where you stand.
